At the Hotel, lies a giant tamarind tree standing there for almost 150 years; its canopy of branches extending out to provide shade and beauty to the place. Its age dates back to the reign of Queen Victorian of Great Britain. And this is where the name "Impiana Resort" inspired from. The tree is the only one on Samui island.
