The location of the River Kwai Jungle Rafts is in the heart of the dense forest and along the lovely river Kwai and can also be reached by taking a long tail boat. Time taken will be around 20 minutes to reach the Jungle Rafts.

Kanchanaburi in Thailand is very easy to reach as it is close to Bangkok. After reaching Thailand, tourists can avail the public bus services known as BKS buses to reach Kanchanaburi. The BKS buses depart from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok. Otherwise tourists can get buses from Nakhon Pathom, Sangkhlaburi and Khao San Road. Train services are also available to Kanchanaburi. The trains run from the Thornburi Train Station in Bangkok. However another possibility is that of the traveling by car. By road, it will take around 3 hours to reach Kanchanaburi from Bangkok. To reach Kanchanaburi, take the Eastern Highway towards Ratchaburi.

By train:
You can easily catch a daily 3rd-class train (non air-con.) from “Bangkok Noi” Railway Station at 07.50 AM and get off at “Nam Tok” Station about 12.45 AM. Then, you can connect a local open-air minibus to get to “Resotel Pier” and catch a join boat from pier to get to the Jungle Rafts (about 20-minute boat ride).

By car
Drive along the route No. 323 until you reach the main town of Kanchanaburi (It will take you about 2.30 hours on an estimate 129 Kilometres way)

Keep driving on Saeng-Chuto Road until you see the junction and turn left as soon as you see the sign post telling you to go along the Saiyoke-Thong Pha Phum route (still on route 323). Then will take you about an hour more to get to Resotel pier (From the main town-River Kwai Bridge-The entrance to Resotel pier is at 54th Kilometer post sign in Saiyoke district).
