Hole Number 8

This will probably be the number one handicap hole on the golf course. The longish par 5 into the prevailing wind be a definite three shot hole to all except the very big hitters on a caim day. The tee shot offers a souble fairway strategy. Driving to the upper left-hand fairway will offer the golfer the best view into the well bunkered green. This hole offers so many different options to play it that it could defimitely set the tone for the remainder of the round for many a golfer.

Hole Numer 12

This could be one of the most photographed holes in all of golf. A wide creek splits this hole into a double fairway strategy. The conservative player will opt to hit their to shot down the left fairway, lay up with a long iron or fairway wood, then pitch over the creek to the green. The golfer who needs a birdie or an eagle will hit to the fairway to the right, trying to avoid the creek and large low maintenance bunker. The green opwns up from this angle so that a fairway wood or long iron could be hit into the green for a two putt girdie, or the rare one put eagle.

Hole Number 17

This is a hole where more matches will be lost than won. The fairway is a fairly wide target to hit, but miss it left into the large low maintenance bunker, and the island green cen begin to become very small. Once the golfer reaches the island green, they will find a very subtle, easily puttable green. This is another hole where a lot of birdies will be made, as well as lots of double bogeys.
